A difficult read, but worth the time and patience. Amazing that a man could dictate such, though a man who wasn't seeing the world around him for blindness might conceivably be better attuned to the world within...

A classic .... but I did not like it at all. Did finish it though because my teacher thought it was excellent. I did tell her what I thought though

Had to read it for English 'O' level - nearly 30 years ago. Awful stuff. Never forgotten it. But passed with an A.....

it's hard to keep up with and not everyone is interested throughout. partially because we know the whole story already. but what kept me hooked was the potrayal of the "befallen", Satan.i truly believed and justified his arguments.
