A good work from Shakespeare ,though I felt a little hatred towards the poor evil Jew, but still I liked the theme and not to mention it showed the games played by women especially those who are lovers

It depends on whether I'm reviewing the prose or the message. The prose is difficult to find fault with--it's Shakespeare, after all. But the message? I am aware some scholars think that Shakespeare's perception of Shylock (not to mention the Prince of Morocco) is subversive but this seems to me to be trying to excuse a deeply racist play.
