1984 fait partit de ce qu'on appelle les classiques. Un livre à lire, qu'on aime la SF ou pas, il est à lire. Assez "flippant" quand on voit ce que devient la société actuelle... Il n'en reste pas moins un livre de science fiction, mais tant de choses "horribles" de ce livre s'étant produite en vrai, qu'il en devient effrayant. Par dessus tout ça, il met en scène des personnages touchants, et il se lit très facilement, donc allez y, go go go.

I am beyond words on 1984. The beginning was a bit slow for me. I lost interest at first, but did pick up the interest as things went on...don't want to do a spoiler here. The Big Brother part did hit home...no I do not want govt to have total control of my life. A good read and I do recommend and develop your own conclusion. Given the subject matter, almost a personal read.
