This book was kind of creepy and dark. It really tested the limits of what's suitable for young kids to read, just in how easy it was for Charlie to really get into dire inescapable trouble if he wasn't consistently on top of it. But he's quite the savvy kid and so was in no real danger. Quite the hopeful and encouraging read.

it isn't bad... of crse itz a pleasure 2 read, bt it isn't as gud as its predecessor... Charlie nd the grt glass elevator doesn't hav da charm of itz prequel...

Who knew there was more then Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? I love this book it is whimsical with a touch of insane.

This sequel is even better than the first book. Roald Dahl just becomes more inventive with his characters and situations. Overall a hilarious read.
