What a great story. Ken Follett is the master storyteller. This novel is 500 pages; but I read it over two days. I found myself totally involved with the characters and plot. I did not want it to end.

1/09. I love WWII stories, and this was a really good one. Takes place in occupied Denmark, the young hero (Harald) discovers something that could change the course of the war & must find a way to get the info to England. The resistance, spies, love story, intrigue, drama and excitement. Good, fast read. This would make a great movie.

The Hornet Flight is a novel set in Denmark during World War II. It is written by Ken Follett. I thought it was a really interesting book, complete with a love story against the background of the Danish Underground movement against the Nazis. I've read other Follett books such as Jackdaws and A Place Called Freedom. Both books are set in a historical background. I'm thinking that I will be reading more of his books in the future.
