I hate to admit it, but this one was my favorite in the series because Dairine reminds me a lot of myself.

EXCELLENT book, one of my favs in Duane's classic series. Everything that made Duane a star is back here in full force, and we get to see spirited little Dairine morph from an annoying little sister to a main character in her own right. Duane knows just how to complicate relationships, whether friends or family, and it's all here with the addition of one of the more gripping storylines of the whole series. Probably one of the best she ever wrote.

Quite clever continuation of the struggle with the lone power, now with computers. Finished it in one read and couldn't really put it down.

This is my favourite one in the whole series. I picked it up as an audio books at the library and listened and loved it and went looking for #1.

I loved the blend of magic and technology. That coupled with the expansive universe makes this a very interesting read.
