I was not given the oppertunity in High School to read this novel. So now that I'm older and have a better appreciation for Anne, I decided it was time to learn from her.

I know everyone at one point in time was supposed to read this book in school. Yet now they have banned it in schools and its not being printed any more. So i took it upon myself, well actually i took it upon my boyfriend to go buy me one :/ I never did read it in middle school. For some reason it was to mature for me .Even though she was my age at the time her attitude towards life was that of a wise lady. She was compassionate and patient. I realized that I wanted to be like her more than ever. She had been trapped in one place for two years and rarely lost her cool. She always had hope no matter what.

i really enjoyed this book but a real shame when they did a progame on it and that they changed bits in the progame.

Have been hoping my granddaughters will read this one - I got so much out of it as a teen when I first read it - made my life quite alright after I read what Anne went through!
