This is one of the finest work of Shakespeare with little suspense and a pinch of romance.I love the character of Aerial the spirit.

Depending on how you read this play, it can be an interesting story about colonialism or a boring love story/story of redemption. I must admit I am not the biggest Shakespeare fan. Now, before anyone stone me, I will say he is one of the greatest playwrights to ever grace this Earth. However, I find him to be a little too dry for my modernist tastes. Give me Oscar Wilde or Henrik Isben or even Tennessee Williams any day of the week. Shakespeare just doesn't speak to this era like people from the 18th century onwards...

Easily and undoubtedly Shakespeare's best work and one of the few I think really stands up to his reputation. Should really replace the painful crap like Romeo and Juliet as a standard high school text.

Written by Shakespeare at the end of his career, this drama bears the sign of his old age. Not highly interesting but makes a good fanciful reading.

All the infections that the sun sucks up from bogs, fens, flats on Prosper fall and make him by inchmeal a disease!" Some of the best typing Shakespeare ever did got into this play, much of it in Caliban's mouth.
