brilliant book, it has its own simplicity in his writing yet funny and philosiphical. I wish i was around at the time of the revolution to have read this it would have been far more controversial in those days..

Biting satire, the world seen through the eyes of one of God's fools. A precursor to Forrest Gump. The tone is one of wonder and astonishment. Leaves the reader with a sense of wonder. How could this be the greatest of all possible worlds?!!

I loved this book. It is definitely listed as one of my favorites. I loved the satire and the constant contradiction of Dr. Pangloss' words of wisdom. Furthermore, it was a very quick read. I recommend it to anyone.
