 Thank god for GM foods, or at least science or this debunked theory would be true. Might want to consider that the next time we decide today is the day we stop modifying food...because its already been done.

 Important ideas, particularly for their historical influence on Darwin and understanding the difference between industrial and agrarian societies. That said, Thomas Malthus is possibly the worst writer I've ever read. I believe it was Erasmus Darwin (Charles' older brother) who referred to him as the Reverend T.R. Morpheus--as in greek god of dreams, Malthus puts his reader to sleep. No other writer can use so many words to say so little. That said, the content is worth understanding.
