This one is more a history of the battle between organized religion and science. I felt it was a little dated and not his best work.

This book is very boring and uninsightful. Not Russell's best.

Bertrand Russell transformed the field of philosophy and its branching studies, and propelled scholars away from dogmatism by promoting logicism.
Religion and Science does just that.
Russell introduces the conflict between religion and science objectively and fairly in the beginning of the book. The conflict is further deepened by introducing historical events and discoveries such as "The Copernican Revolution", "Demonology and Medicine" and "Evolution".
The book then discusses dogmas that are found more often in science than religion, dealing with subjects such as "Determinism".
