I can't remember many details of this book, but I remember really loving it at the time I read it. And the things I do remember remind me of why I thought it was beautifully written.

An important read, especially for todays issues with election, etc. Her intention is always to convey the truth of the moment. Excellent from cover to cover.

This is one of my all-time favorites. The characters, the many faces of marriage, and the southern culture and dialect blend with the imagery to create an exquisite story.

AMAZING! It is so real and touching. Also read about the life of Zora Neal Hurston. I was introduced to this book in Women's lit in college and I have never forgotten it.
