i enjoyed this book as much as "Into Thin Air". It really looks at both sides of the climbing "controversy" and seems to an unbiased account of what happened during this climbing season. I like the writer's style - eloquent, but also casual.

Interesting to me because I had watched Russell Brice's team summit in 2006 on The Discovery Channel so I knew who the people were. BUT not as gripping as Into Thin Air.

Great book chronicling the 2006 disastrous climbing season on Mt Everest. Over-commercialization? Crowding on the hill? The obligation of one climber to another above 8,000 meters? I liked Jon Krakauer's book better.
