A wonderful insight into the life of the man who is truly a global citizen...born to an African father and a white american mother, Obama's book is honest and very insightful. It tells you how little changes in life and thinking can lead to a big change and that too for the better....A coloured boy growing up in a white country and not losing faith in himself and what he can be...Really inspiring... Loved it...

If you want to know the "man" Obama,read this book! A story about the family, siblings, half siblings and the question biracial children asked themselfes. Am I black or white..I tell my sons "you are your father and my son, human, and you got the best of both worlds!!!"

I really enjoyed this narrative! I could relate to Obama's issues about where he belongs ethnically and culturally. As everyone knows, he has a really great voice and the reading of his own text was very engaging.
