A tale set in a small, fictional liberal arts university; a plot surrounding an outside-the-box Logic and Reasoning course that is much more than it seems. While not a classic; it is a page turner extradordinaire with an innovative and byzantine plot an ending that you will never predict.

Lavender promises thrills and does more than follow through on his end of the deal! Obedience is a fantastic little novel, that succeeds in enthralling the reader in a world of infinite possibility, keeping him or her guessing 'til the very last page! If you haven't read Obedience by Will Lavender, read it ... right now!

Everyone knows that education is dangerous. Right? Well, it is in this book. So fast paced and gripping, I gulped this one in a day or two.

This book was a creepy paranoia fest, from start to finish. The characterization and dialog irked in places, but not enough to make me put it down! Don't read when it's totally quiet -- every sound will startle you to death.

I devoured this book!! I read it all in one day!! I couldn't put it down. It was very VERY interesting and well-crafted! I highly recommend it.

I could not read any further than the third chapter of this book. The dialogue is terrible, and the author obviously has no idea what the life of a college student (the central characters are college students) is like. Imagine a man writing from the point of view of a young woman . . . but he has no idea what a young woman thinks and feels. The plot sounded exciting, so this is a big disappointment.
