Oh, the suspense continues, will Stephanie be with Joe or Ranger. I love both of these guys! I will hate it when Stephanie finally decides because it will be the end of a great series. These books 1-14 have made me laugh even when I didn't feel like laughing. Janet Evanovich is a genius at creating characters that you fall in love with!

I look forward to the new Stephanie Plum each summer. I read the series four summers ago ~ laughed for a month ~ I enjoyed the Lula and Tank story line. Lula makes me laugh. I liked that this book had an actual plot. I think I may be tiring of Janet. It seems she tries very hard to be over the top and, for me, it's coming off stupid. That said, I look forward to the next one.

I read reviews before I read this story, so I didn't expect much. However, I really enjoyed this story - almost as much as all the others. I still laughed out loud and loved the play between Stephanie and Ranger and Stephanie and Joe. I do agree with the other poster who said Stephanie and Joe seemed to have matured and Steph didn't make so many amatuer mistakes. Grandma is still up to her usual kookiness. Overall, another great story in the Stephanie Plum series.

As usual, Stephanie Plum didn't disappoint. As a bailbondsman, she's remarkably inept, but finds herself in weird and funny (and dangerous) situations among weird and very funny characters. Returning in this 14th novel, are sidekick Lula and Grandma Mazur, but the real treat is the trio of Mooner, Zook and Gary the Stalker who save the day with their potato rocket. Not the best of the 14 books, but still very entertaining.

Evanovich writes mystery/crime novels that are laugh out loud funny. The characters are memorable and bizzare but fit in with Stephanie Plum's crazy life. The love triangle between her, Morreli and Ranger adds so much fun to the book. I want to know who Stephanie chooses.

I'm not sure why I keep reading this series; it's been going downhill since before it hit double digits. They're usually fun, I guess. And I keep hoping that she'll be able to write another one that's as entertaining as the first one, or the fourth one. This one isn't it. But I got a few good laughs, and it cleared my head one afternoon.

This is my first Stephanie Plum novel. Talk about an easy read. Evanovitch keeps the action moving and the dialogue is great. I think we all know a Lula and Grandma is hilarious. I read it in like 6 hours and can't wait to read the rest of them. You do not have to have read any of the others to get this book.

Just my kind of book! A fast read that had me giggling the entire time. I just love Stephanie Plum and her mixed up group of family and friends. Warning... if you are a Ranger lover, then we'll have to see if the next one is for you 'cause this was definitely for the Morelli fans.

I've read everything Janet E writes...just for the fun it brings me...I laugh outloud and often read portions to my cat, Luckybug...she smiles in her condescending little cat way, but I know inside she is chortling too. If you want a book to "take you away to a fun place you'll never visit (where you have 2 men or more in your life!) read a little Evanovich Stephanie Plum (best read in order starting with One for the Money)

It wasn't my favourite book in the series; in fact I sort of breezed through it without it leaving much impression on me. Yes, it was an enjoyable read, yes there were the usual amusing and quirky situations and characters (and it was great to have Mooner back) but, I don't know, it just didn't grab me like many of the others.

I should've read this before "Plum Spooky" so I know the whole story about Lula and Tank's mysterious engagement. All I caught was the break up and Tank's cats and what a laugh!

I don't care if other readers say this series is no good and redundant, it's pure entertainment for me, and Stephanie and her crew brightens up even the most gloomy days for me, even when I don't want to smile because of something I can't help but smile and laugh at the insanity Janet Evanovich puts in the characters.

The story has a good mystery on it, first time it ended this way though, with Stephanie still in harm's way, but not on the receiving end of gunpoint. I'm pretty used to Ms Evanovich's writing I could hear the characters talk, that I'm convinced Stephanie's FTA's are people we see everyday, and I can't help but admire how the author excellently describes scenes as if painting a picture.

I'm still torn between Ranger and Joe, Stephanie really helped in the major case because of her intuition. This is the first time I'll comment about her food which is mostly junk, and I liked the way she handled the people around her (Brenda, Gary, Moonman, and Zook). Lula and Grandma Mazur are funny as ever and I'm not getting tired of these Stephanie Plum novels. They're junk to some, but they're my smile-inducing junk.

I got hooked into this series years ago, and even though the storyline has gotten a bit stale, I feel like I have to keep going. The fact is that this wasn't a great book, however, it was a fantastic audio book. The reader does a great job with voices and the pace is fast (of course the fact that I listen to it on "faster" mode helps too).

This is the latest installment in the Stephanie Plum, a Trenton bounty hunter who is very lucky in her job -- not so much with cars. Start with book one if you're not familiar with the series. These are easy, fast reads -- great for the commute home. These books will have you laughing out loud in the subway (watch how people start laughing with you)! And you'll love Lula, the reformed hooker who's a size 14 that squeezes into size 8 clothing! Hilarious!

This book has more crazy characters than she normally deals with. I loved it from the beginning to the end! I think that while you don't have to read this series in order, and while they may seem to be repetitive the one thing that makes this series is how funny her characters are. You want to turn up to read the next novel, to see what Stephanie's Grandma is going to do next, Her mother's reaction, and who she's going to be with Joe or Ranger. I love Lula, and I have to admit that the craziness of this series takes me away from my troubles and gives me a good laugh and break from reality!!

Not her best...first of all, did Steph EVER get together with Ranger this time? Grandma Mazur and the rest of the family was serverely lacking. The two strange nieces of hers weren't in the book at all. Plus, she spent about 1 hour at her own house. Poor Rex... Even her time with Morelli was marred by too many people in and around the house. Bring back the fun!

I just love Janet Evanovich's Plum series. I have to say though it seems she's loosing a little steam. Every once in a while she'll come out with something hysterical and entertaining, others she escapes her usual (award winning) formula and tries to deviate from her regular characters to do something different. I miss the days of her getting hand cuffed to her shower.

I think this is the best installment in the series out since it hit 10 or so. Really solid and entertaining. The cast of secondary characters in this one is exceptional, from Brenda to Moonman. Lula is in stellar form as she plans for a wedding. Grandma Mazur gets a new hobby. And Stephanie and Morelli seem to be moving further down Commitment Road -- poor Ranger! Overall, I loved it. Also, this is the first of the numbered books I've listened to on audio, and I believe that will be my preferred method of "reading" these in the future... great audio production!

my Favorite quote: "... I need coffee. I need one of those extra-greasy breakfast sandwiches. I gotta clog my arteries on account of otherwise the blood rushes around too fast and I might get a dizzy spell." -Lula, Fearless Fourteen.Another great Stephanie Plum Novel, though she doesn't destroy a car this time...

I am so sick of Janet Evanovich's repetitive crap. And who the hell has their characters laugh when they almost get killed? And the grandma is fucking ridiculs now.. before she was funny.. now she's just stupid and annoying. You really need to come up with some new material and have Stephanie settle down with ONE guy for once instead of leading readers to believe she might the next book and never does. Me, my mother, and my grandma, have been bored with your books since number 10. We're done buying your books. Thanks for wasting our money on the last 4.Done done doneeee with your dumb books!
repetitive of her other books. snore.

Books should make you think, feel, take you away from your world, and sometimes simply make you laugh and smile. Once again Evanovich's characters made me laugh out loud. I wasn't so sure about this one in the beginning, but Grandma Mazur never disappoints. Her new characters were also delightful and were responsible for laugh-out-loudness! If you are a Stephanie Plum fan you won't be disappointed.
