Not very good at all. Facts from the books were misquoted (Saphira gave Za'roc its magical powers??) and it mostly just used Eragon as a vessel for topics the author thought were interesting - such as whether some plants can think.

I didn't know anyone could be so ignorant while pretending to know everything. First Goliath is not in Genesis, he's in 1 Samuel, and there aren't any giants in the "Inheiritance trilogy" *scratch out* quintet, only a lame pun that the dwarf who aparantly has no grasp of any grammar (just like the other characters). The last part about how to write fantasy was a bit more like "How to be a Hack, Like Me!" This book seemed to be made up by someone who had not read "Eragon" and just wanted to ride on someone else's success.
