It's getting darker! I like how the author weaves the Native American folklore into the story. This one ends sort of unsettled so I am really looking forward to reading the next one!

Untamed gets a little crazy. Zoey ends up having no friends and down to 0 boyfriends because of her lack of trust. I understand Neferet reads minds, but in the fifth book they cloud their memories with the elements, why not do that now. I can't remember if its untamed or chosen, but neferet knows that zoey is onto her, and is being a royal butt to her. I start to really feel for both Heath and Erik, because of the way zoey is toying around with both of them. "I love Heath!" No..."I love Eric." Come on..Choose one. Even after Hunted she still has both of them. I know I have a big bf about the book, but I really like the house of night series...Just frustrated with Zoey. She seemed more down-to-earth in Marked and even betrayed.

In "Untamed," the forth installment of the House of Night novels, Zoey Redbird has gone from having 3 boyfriends to none in a week. Her close group of friends who trusted and supported her, have now turned their backs on her. She has only 2 friends left... Stevie Rae, an undead, and a sworn enemy who is no longer Marked with the fledgling tattoo. Now she must trust the one person she swore to hate. After starting in Zoey's life, how can I stop now. This series just continues to keep my attention.

Vampires coexist with Humans, the "Vampire" gene kicks in during puberty and these kids once marked must start attending an alternative Vampire School. In the series, Christians are typically exemplified as very fake and hypocritical but in this particular volume, Catholic Nuns establish a decent relationship with Zoey. Pagan Goddess worship is practiced, evoking the 5 elements, etc… Lots of cursing, and physical intimacy between teens. These books read really fast, and each one only covers a few weeks time. I think I would have to say they are all plot... but I keep reading them to find out what happens to the little Vampire Priestess.

Great read. I was relieved after reading the previous novel Betrayed. Just as you think clouds are clearing and Zoey's world is pulling itself together, another evil is lurking, waiting to be unleashed. Neferet has finally admitted to joining the dark side, hee hee, we have new red fledglings, the new boy Stark is still a hot mystery ;), and Erik is back as Zoey's loyal Consort (oh my)... Can't wait for Hunted to be released in Mar09.

this book was awesome and I totally loved it. I would say that this book is a mix between harry potter and Twilight. Bu this series is awesome and I would totally recommend this series to other people and I hope that they would love it as much as I do. :D This book was amazing and I loved it for it added more action than the first three had and I'm thinking that this book is going to become an awesome series. I cannot wait to read more of the series and add more of those books to my list of books that I read. :) I loved it I loved it I loved it and I will recommend this book to other people. I will also recommend this book to the series and I hope that they would love it as much as I do. :D

I believe it is a real shame that such a great idea, with so much potential, have been written the way that it has. Untamed provides new characters and new threats to Zoey, her friends and the House of Night. But the Casts use of dialogue for the characters as well as word choice leaves much to be desired. Especially when dialogue and word choice plays a big role in distinguishes an ok book to a great one. How many 17 year olds do you know who talks with words such as "bullpoopy", "bejeezus" and uses phrases such as "I almost crapped my pants" every other chapter? I certainly do not know of any, and when I was in high school, no one I knew did. The pacing is really off in this book, as well as the previous books in the series. Within four books, only approximately 3-4 months have passed and so many things have happened to everyone without allowing us as readers to grow with the characters. The characters are not relatable, are not believable to me. I understand the appeal to certain groups of readers but unfortunately the series, as well as the authors, do not have enough to keep me continuing the series.

The gang is at it again and all hell has broken loose. Again, some of the characters dialouge annoys me to the point where I literally skip over their lines but the storyline is interesting enough that I'll finish the series. I don't particularly like any of the characters haha. Although I do like the friendship that has blossomed between Aphrodite and Zoey.

I love this fourth book in the House of Night series. It was a bit slower than the first three but that is simply because it takes the series in a whole new direction. This series never fails to be boring it perfectly mixed our Vampire ideas with something much more unique. I love it and I def suggest it to anyone who wants a good read. Read the first three FIRST though. ;)

Snooze. I got so bored with this one, that it turned me off to the series completely. Overall this is truly a teen geared series, with its drama and cheesy boy issues. I felt like the series was being very drawn out just to make another book.

OMG!!! stevie is dying, but thankfully, she dosent...at least so far in the 5th book, anyway I CANT BELIVE STARK DIED!!!!!!!i was so pissed off when i found out....he was like my FAVORITE guy so far in the series....but NO!...he had to die...but its okay, i think hes coming back lol... still lovin it

Also, even if you're catholic or have any other religion, when i read the part of the nuns it made me feel a lot better that I was reading this book and didn't feel bad about reading a book that has their own goddess, Nyx. Can't wait for the next book to come out...It left me wanting more and more of what is going to happen...Again read the book in one day...This is where the story really starts

Absolutely wicked awesome! That's the only way I can describe it. It was the best in the series, and I was glad it wasn't really filled that much with boyfriend drama and perversion. Go Zoey! She is a great feminine power, and Neferet should be killed. I was rooting for Shekinah and it disappointed me that Neferet powered over her. Thank Goddess lol that both Heath and Erik will be okay. I'm glad Loren died. This book was just so goood. Total cliffhanger though. It took me the longest to read out of the series, but luckily Zo has her friends back, and I love Damien. Aphrodite has actually grown on me. This book was amazing. Can't wait to read Hunted!

I started this series and felt I needed to know how it ended. I would not have bought these books myself but since a friend owned them, I read them. I had a hard time with the mis-spellings and the incorrect word usage- don't you have an editor when you are a published writer? And the constant ( )!!!! Please! If we are on book four we probably know what you are referring to and don't need you to remind us of every little detail, we are smart and can figure it out! But besides my rants above, I liked the story being told. If you can get past the above issues, then it is a pretty good read. Toward the end of each book, P.C. finds her voice and it comes through and that makes reading these books worthwhile.

The settings for these stories are out of Tulsa and surrounding Oklahoma which caught my attention as I am from Oklahoma and lived in Tulsa at one time. Also, there is reference to the Cherokee heritage and language which I also have a small connection to... My Great Great Grandmother on my Mother's side was a full blooded Cherokee woman. I'm very proud of that. This is the first of the "Cast" books that I have read and I look forward to reading more of them.
