Ever is an incredibly believable character. She's absolutely human despite her new found immortality. She's flawed, and real. While Damen is almost too good to be true, No man is that self-sacrificing, even if he is 600 years old. Definitely a good follow up to the series, and looking forward to the next.

The first 3/4 of this book was quite boring and uneventful, I had a hard time getting through it. The last 1/4 is good. It won me over in the end. I just hope the next book is better.

***Spoilers!!!!*** I liked this book and its predacesors. I did have a problem with Shadowlands though, in the end you ended up in the exact same spot as in the begining. The whole time you think you're moving forward, but then you make a complete u-turn and go to the start. There were a few things that changed though, Damen can create a shield of energy between himself and Ever. Also, I can't believe Ever changed Haven into an immortal. It was her time to go anyways. She could've changed everything. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens in Dark Flame, the next book. I have high hopes for that book.

I liked this book. It was a good sequel to Blue Moon. I liked the new character in it and I thought he fitted in quite well. The ending was rather dramatic. Want to read the next one when its released

though there were a lot of events in the story, nothing makes progress. Damen is still cursed. Jude is in the scene where he makes the story more complicated. and Ever is as stupid as EVER! haha

What an amazing book! I absolutley love the Evermore Immotals series : D. I loved ever minute of the book it kept me pulled in and I couldn't put the book down. Why did it have to end? I am goona go crazy waiting for the next book that comes out this summer :(. You have romance, magick and more all rolled into an amazing book series : D

Okay, so now that I have actually had some time to recover and it is not 3 in the morning Ill give you a better review...lol It was a really good book, not as good as the last two. I dont want to give any spoilers for those who dont like em (I hate spoilers), but if you were sad at the ending of Blue Moon, you will be sad again at the end of this book. Ever is up to her neck in stupidity...AGAIN...she kinda gives blondes a bad name. I totally heart Jude OMG..lol, and I still heart Damon lots too and all in all, I think I would go with Damon :P There is some great character development, the twins rule!! haha, and you learn some things about people that you wouldnt exacly expect. I never take my time reading a book, but I always give the same advice...take your time reading the book...it makes it so you dont have to wait as long for the next one..lol Enjoy :)

The two are searching for an antidote to the curse that prevents them from being together. Ever remains hopeful that she and Damen will be together again, but when she meets Jude, she finds herself unsure of her destiny and her true soulmate. It was easy to fall back into Ever and Damen's world and get caught up in their epic love story. Author Alyson Noel keeps up the twists and turns and she never ceases to surprise me. I didn't think anyone could pull me away from being a Damen fan, but Jude makes a strong case. I can see why Ever ends up confused! Haven and Miles take a backseat in this one as the story concentrates more on Ever and Damen, but for the moments we do see them, they shine. We also get to hear a bit from Riley (via the help of others) and her appearances, even if they are not really seen, still make me smile. And my favorite twins, Romy and Rayne, are also back. I think these two are my favorite characters in the entire series and I looked forward to every scene they appeared in. SHADOWLAND explores the magical world Ever and Damen are part of in more depth and the subjects of reincarnation, spells, and fate are explored in more detail in this offering. I really liked learning more about how the magic works in this world and the intricacies Alyson Noel added were lots of fun to read about. The only complaint I had was the over-use of the word "gape," but I was able to overlook it because I was caught up in the story as a whole. The ending of this one will keep you turning pages and eagerly awaiting the next volume. SHADOWLAND is another exciting and addicting read in THE IMMORTALS series. Alyson Noel knows how to keep her readers hanging and it's easy to see how this series is continually gaining new readers. Once you start reading about Ever and Damen, you won't want to stop!

This installment in the Immortals series is by far the best. Alyson Noel defently spiced things up with the introduction of charming new male character Jude. While the fight continued to keep immortal boyfriend Damen by her side Ever searches for a cure from the spell put on them by Roman. This volume had an exciting fast paced romantic mystery, that ended on cliffhanger. I cant wait to read what happenes in "Dark Flame"!!

This book like all the Evermore books are idiotic at best. I cannot believe I wasted money on a series of books that have a pathetic heroine such as Ever. Since the beginning of the series with the first installment called Evermore, Ever has bounded from mistake to mistake. Despite how many times those she trusts tell her not to. So makes you wonder if they are trustworthy. And as far as her friends go, they are not friends. Anyone who hangs out with such diluted, spoiled, annoying friends such as Haven and Miles must be diluted themselves. Like Blue Moon, Shadowland is just filler, nothing much but the same old, same old. I'm currently reading Dark Flame and like expected Haven is still a whiny brat. Ever is stupid and Damen in nothing special. I cannot wait until I finish these books before moving onto something more well-written.

This will be the last for me, I am tired of Ever, so dumb . it is expected in order to create tension that the thing the protagonist wanted the most to be taken from her or to be delay ...but there are other ways to achieve this other than she being a fool all the time ..

Sequal to "Blue Moon"...good book but so far the best of the series is Blue Moon, but just started reading Dark Flame.....

This the third book in the Immortals series was shocking, heart breaking, frustrating, and leaving me wanting the fourth book which comes out in July of 10' to come out now! I was drawn in first by the simple struggle of Ever and her new found "immortality" the secrets she must keep and the struggles she must now endure due to her lack of trust and ultimate bad decision making. Damen in my mind has become the one steady character that just seems to show many new redeeming layers. I anxiously await the next book hoping that all the cliff hangers, and what ifs are finally answered!

I am always completely aggravated with Ever... maybe it's because I share her tendency to have to figure things out on my own and don't heed the advice of others. The book was pretty decent overall. Can't wait to see what happens in the next one.

It was good but Ever is becoming a little bit too teenage-angst-ish for me. Her attitude bothers me at times and that takes away from the story for me. But I did appreciate more layers being added to the plot. I'll finish the series but it's not my favorite
