This book is the second in the Twilight saga and starts with Edward leaving Bella in the hopes of protecting her. She ends up finding salvation in her friend Jacob. Jacob goes through his own transformation and ends up a werewolf, who's only purpose is to protect humans from vampires. Can he protect Bella from vamps, and most importantly can he protect her from herself? though Edward returns in the dramatic climax- this really is the story of Bella's relationship with Jacob.

I Can't belive how a Vampire romance novel set could totally disrupt my life. I could not put them down and it was the only time I re-read a chapter book. Not 1 time but 3 times. I was beginning to think there was a spell attached to these. I love to read a book and pull out the spritual overtures, if they exist, and boy do they exist....
