At one time I owned three paperback copies of this trilogy. There were actually two authors: Charles Nordhoff and James Norman Hall. The titles of the books are: "Mutiny on the Bounty," "Men Against the Sea," and Pitcairn's Island."

These are historical novels, solidly based on fact. The story of the mutiny on The Bounty is one of the greatest sea stores of all time.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading all three books, now so many years ago that I've misplaced the "Men Against the Sea" volume.

A fascinating tale based on the true accounts of a munity back in the mid 19th century. Rather a sad ending, but gripping and well written.

Adventure, faith, selfishness, pain and survival abound in this gripping trilogy based on real life events of what many call the the most famous mutiny on the sea.

Loyalty and treason is the game in here. The reward is eternal paradise in an island. Interesting characters esp Christian Fletcher.

Who'da thunk that a book about a mutiny could be so dull, when the movie was so great?

A great read even for an adult.
The trilogy consists of the actual mutiny. It also contains the sage of Captain William Bligh's voyage with a 18 loyal crewmen in the Bounty's launch. Their 3,618 nautical mile journey has yet to be bested to this day. The final portion of this book involves the sad saga of the mutineers and their fate on Pitcairn Island.
