AS is usual with Picoult, she takes a good idea, turns it into a court drama, asks lots of interesting questions regarding the moral ins and outs of the issues, then is too cowardly to come down one way or the other in the end. This one is less disappointing than many of hers.

I think this book was my least fav of her's. I had a hard time getting into the book and the ending was not great.

Although in some ways predictable, it was also a good page turner with a few twists and turns. Great for a long journey to keep you occupied!

Very well written and what a controverse topic! I was a bit disappointed about the end, was lot less spectacular than I thought it would be. Or maybe I just didn't get it? I don't know...

This is the best book i have read in a while, Jodi Picoult is a fantasticaly talented writer.

Overall, it was okay, and what made it okay was the whole religion thing and talk of God. Yeah, I couldn't let go of the book while reading it, but at times, I wanted to just skip over the religious debates. How one girl's visions can set off a whole flock of devout Christians, jews, media, crooks... it's a reflection of the differences in today's world and how some people may still not accept other beliefs.

I myself am not a religious person. Scratch that- I don't believe in god, but in a different way from Atheists. This book was so interesting, though, that I read it all the first night I got it, staying up until 7 a.m. to do so. It's very good, whether you follow the Christian faith or not, and the story of a little girl who sees God... is just wonderful.

I loved this book. It's the first book in a while that i've not been able to put down. However, I'm a little confused as to the ending myself.

It was an interesting book opened my eyes to spiritual things and her story was liberating in a sense. You kind of thought that it was because the father left them and in away you happy he did because it opened the mothers eyes to someone who was there and had always loved her. A life lesson that is don't settle when you could have better

This was one of the 1st Jodi books I read. As are all her books, you can't stop thinking about it long after you're done reading it.
