This book is an excellent come-back from the original trilogy. the amount of emotion involved wouldn't be possible without the first three books. This was the first book that ever brought me to tears and it still gets me every time i read it!

I had to finish the series and overall I liked it. It wasn't the best thing I've read but it wasn't the worst. Overall I think all four books are a fun read.

Dark Reunion is contradictory with the first three ones. Klaus, the vampire who changed Katherine, is supposed to be dead and there is no explanation at all about how he comes back. Klaus is supposed to have been killed by Katherine.

This is one of my favorite books of all time. The epic battle (heh) is my favorite fight scene of all time. I am filled with such overwhelming love for this book that it cannot be textually rendered. LOVELOVELOVE.

the best in the vampire diaries series except for the end part where elena rises from the dead... that was a lame deus ex ending. but damon is very cool in this and i like the stuff with matt.

A series of 4 books about a girl in love with 2 vampires. I read this many times growing up and I am sure I will STILL enjoy it if I pick it up again.

kinda sad really, it was a continuation of the original series. i enjoyed the book, but instances from the previous book made it difficult to love.

Vampire Diaries was freaking awesome! The first three books were absolutely amazing. Like all of my favorites, the characters couldn't have been better and the plot was engrossing. The fourth book, though, switched to another characters POV--one which I did not hold much love for. But the ending, after a shocking event in the third book (which really ticked me off, actually--to the point where I was debating not finishing the series) just made me the happiest person ever. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the series!
