My favorite author and my favorite trilogy. I love just how indepth Tolkien made the chemistry between the elements of the book and the brilliant characters. Everything turned to life and I can't say enough of just how much I love this book and the series.

Finished reading this to my 11 year-old daughter a few nights ago. She loved it. We are watching the movie now and she is surprised at the number of changes that were made.

Dunno... how to put the words straight..... When I was supposed to take bed-rest for 3 long months , a friend of mine came up with this Gift. I just scolded him for giving the gift and there he was laughing at me saying that i won't leave it one i Start relishing the book. This books speaks alot about forming a team and the ethics involved in a team and how people really struggle with the responsibility they are assigned... ( especially Frodo and Sam ) but my favorites are the silliest but always happy and enthusiastic cousins......(I am a fool to remeber those names...mostly Pipin and ....XXXX)... well folks keep reading..............

An instant (Ok, maybe not instant) classic! This is the kind of thing we need to be reading in school! My favorite of the series.
