Too confusing. It had an interesting plot thought. When you are forced to read something for school you kind of don't enjoy it as much.

Good book. Terrible way to treat literature. Hated the things they did. Used to be a fire fighter and never would have liked to see books burning.

Couldn't put it down. Not so much for the writing syle (mteaphos, idioms) but the way Ray kept it moving and disguised the ending. Rather prophetic possibly. With the US on the brink of destroying our freedom of speech the written work is not far behind. God help us everyone.

Bradbury thought to be light-weight sci-fi writer but the Martian Chronicles still one of my favorite sets of sci-fi short fiction and Something Wicked This Way Comes one of my favorite Bradbury novels. Fahrenheit 451 probably his most well read but not his best writing or imagining.
