So far my favorite book in the Vampire Chronicles. I just don't have enough good things to say about this book. Definitely a page-turner, "Queen of the Damned" tells the origins of Anne Rice's vampires, and does it in a way no one but Anne Rice could. Anne Rice is always a good read, not only because of her writing style, but because of the historical context in which she places her stories. This book can make you beleive in the goodness of the human race through the eyes of some of the most seemingly evil characters there are.

Feminist crap aside, this was a great read with an interesting story. Rice really does have a unique writing style.

Gives a lot more insight to the movie, explains a lot of stuff that the movie did not have time to cover. Good so far. I really liked this book. It kept my attention much better than the first two books in the Vampire Chronicles. Very interesting, a great read!

I thought this was the best in the chronicles, I really love origin books and this really explains everything about the vampires, and I loved the twin vampires Maharet and Makare (I think thats their names:) Wonderful book, personally I think teh series should have just ended after this book it only goes done from here.
