Excellent book. I recommend it to everybody. It`s very easy to read and taking. It kept me awake til the late night hours while reading it. Not i`m looking forward to watch the movie. Hopefully, it would be as good as the book.

Extremely intense; Chrichton paints a great picture of the undersea habitat and the forces that pit a crew of individualists against their own minds and each other.

Chrichton maintains his cant-put-down ability in his narrative, the plot itself takes a downward spiral going from a super exciting high to a convenient totally uninteresting explanation..this one seems to be in the crappy sidney sheldon league...cannot believe it was a NY Times Bestseller

My first Michael Crichton novel. Also the first in psychological horror. It was ok but I should say I am a little disappointed with it.

Love this book, such a great look at something that it almost indiscribable. Gets very odd near the end, but it is still very very worth the read.
