I have only read the Interview with the Vampire.. It was a good book but it was long winded for me.. She like to give every detail about the sence that you are reading.. I have not read the rest yet, but one day I will get to them..

Good book series. I found that there were minor differences between the first book and the movie. The second and third book, well, nothing to do with the movie exactly. The basic premise of the Queen is there, but that is about it. The book is so different from the movie it amazed me, but in a good way. I would recommend this book to anyone that is interested in this genre of books.

I have the entire collection of Vampire Lestat novels including this special edition :) This collection is my favorite of all time and would not part with them for anything!!! The Vampire Companion book is very helpful if you are a Lestat fan. This is one vampire you gotta love and the Anne Rice captures New Orleans and France beautifully!!! Rich in history and storytelling. You can not put these books down and will read again and again...........

i dont think anything i will say will do justice to these books.. the first one...everybody seems to like the most....I did not.. infact...its the least fav of mine... but...THE VAMPIRE LESTAT....was beyond amazing..and queen of the damned was thrilling...the past of vampires...their origin...WOW... and then comes body theif...that was soo like lestat...to want mortal life...and then HATE it... although Luis is a bit too philosophical...but i love him...cause Lestat love him... u can never find..the sheer arrogance thats there in lestat...and the crave for fame he has he is one of the most complex character i ever read...!! but i love the ones in which lestat narrates...the most..[:D]
