First Anne Rice book Ive ever read. I fell in love with this book, it made me want to read more and I havent stopped reading yet.

This book centers around the story of the Taltos, which is all I will say so I don't ruin it for the people who have not read the first two books in the Mayfair Witch Trilogy. It is just as good as the first two in the sense of the story, and, as you might expect from Anne Rice, brilliantly written. This book ties up all the loose ends of the trilogy, but still leaves you wanting more.

This book centers on an ancient almost extinct race of beings. We heard of them in the previous 2 books in the series. Now we know thier history and their interactions with humans. The Mayfairs triumph over their adversities once again.

A good story, but....eeew. A lot of taboos and perversions to distract from the main story. And give me a break with the Anne Boleyn reference! Is anyone else reminded of the horrible offspring of that nurse in the original Swedish version of Kingdom Hospital, season 2? Again, eeeew.
