Blade Runner is one of my favorite movies so I had to read the book. I only watched the movie and read the book because I played the game 1997 PC game, Blade Runner.

Classic science fiction, though I was a little bit thrown off by the weird psych-mysticism that it veers into towards the end. Pretty solid stuff.

A fantastic read....PKDick had an talent for putting a human face on sci fi...more so than any other sci fi author I know, Dick creates scenarios that you can believe we would create, characters that that are flawed and beautiful in truly human fashion. This book was the basis for Blade Runner, one of the finest sci fi films ever made...what i find really amazing is that the story comes from such a thin book, and that the film makers only used half of it! The religious and psychological aspects of the story could be made into another film. All of his books could be made into films, and I wish they were.

I was forced to read this for a college lit class on lit and movies. I usually like science fiction and this one was worse than the movie by a long shot. Neither one was even believable nor interesting enough.
