This one was pretty good. It's hard to get into at first. It's a whole different world - fairies & goblins interacting with humans. But once you get into it, it's interesting. I'm looking forward to the next one.

This is Book 2 in The Merry Gentry series written by Laurell K. Hamilton. I highly recommend the series. The covers of these books are very deceiving ... they look like romance novels, but they are really an intricate sci-fi/fantasy series from the author that wrote the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series."

I love this series! Its as, if not more, intricate and captivating as her Anita Blake novel. Yes, lots of sex, but lots of carefully woven plot. Beautifully written as all of Laurell K Hamilton's work is

I didn't think the story line moved along as smoothly as the first book, for most of the book I was wondering what the conflict would be, it showed up late and resolved so early that I kind of finished the book thinking...ok how did this move the story along? Still it was a good read, entertaining, and the characters developed further which is always nice.

i love all the merry books, this was a favorite of mine though.I love anything laurell writes i only have to see her name and i buy it, i have yet to be disappointed
