Good book but slow pacing through the first half of the book. Second half is much better. Requires a very large vocabulary, or a really good dictionary, to get through this. I think the author was trying to show off all the big words he knows.Slow pacing through the first half of the book is made up by a really good second half. You must have a really large vocabulary to get through this book or a handy dictionary.

After years between ADF novels I picked this one up at a Borders and didn't put it down until i was finished with it. And then I went back to look for the others in the trilogy!

I don't normally read sci-fi but this was alright. The character interaction was interesting but not enough so that I will continue to read the series.

Interesting story - how would a business man behave if kept as a pet by an alien race. Quite liked the characters - guess I shall read the sequels.
