While non-Tolkienites may find themselves bewildered and befuddled by the repetition and jumble of names and place-names in this book, anyone who has read entirely through the Lord of the Rings trilogy will find this background information on the formation of the landscape and people groups of Middle-Earth fascinating, if not useful in the realms of reality. I highly suggest this book to anyone who enjoys epic tales of woe and destruction. PMZ
