Good adventure story with the classic characters. A nice change of pace, mingling some Clone War era support characters with the Rebellion classic characters.

Dear Mr. Stover,God Bless you that you were able to convince someone to pay you to write, but please stop. I read most of this book. When it wasn't pedantically expository it was pointlessly verbocrap quazi-techno made-up gibberish and/or jaw-droppingly inane "dialogue." Your ad nauseam childish repetition of the simile "like a fillintheblankwithmadeupgoogoogaga" is was laughable. I intend to do a followup piece to this review in the form of a poem including all of these. In short, I would rather have stepped onto a crowded city bus on a hot summer day and pooped my pants.

Pretty much what you'd expect from any Star Wars story with the exception of a new bad guy. The battle scenes were cool, but they were mostly ship battles, there was barely any lightsaber fights, which is what you want from Star Wars.Reading it now, awesome it is. Review will I have soon, young padawan :D

It was quite clever in how it tied up some loose ends and unanswered questions in the star wars universe and I found myself laffing out loud every now and then. Not the greatest author in the star wars universe but still produced enjoyable origional story that thnkfuly lacks most of the dark overtones you get in most of the books set after the hand of thrawn.
