This is Book 1 in The Merry Gentry series written by Laurell K. Hamilton. I highly recommend the series. The covers of these books are very deceiving ... they look like romance novels, but they are really an intricate sci-fi/fantasy series from the author that wrote the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series."

I prefer the Merry Gentry series over Anita Blake. I enjoy all of Hamilton's writing though.

This is my favorite series running. It incorporates great sex, wonderful characters and the supernatural. I tell people about it all the time.

A guilty pleasure series with a good story line and lots of sexual context. I love her style of writing so even if you don't enjoy a bit of soft core it's still worth reading.

Ok, I must say this book took me by surprise! I had no idea what to expect, it was a book I picked at random at the book store. The story pulls you in, you can't help but want to know what is going to happen to Meredith next! This book is a fun read.
