Not a bad read. I just think that it took way to long to get to the action at hand. It was sweet none the less. I like the fact that Gina was a strong female lead and she didn't let herself get pushed around. Trace was a hottie through and through and it is great when you read a book where the lead seems attractive to you. We are all fascinated with Navy SEALS and this book just feeds into that even though it is very unrealistic it was still a good and light read.

Technically I read Code Name Bikini, but since there's another entry for Code Name Princess and this is the appropriate picture, here goes.

Christina Skye takes an excellent story about a shipboard romance with an ex-cop turned pastry chef with a serious health concern and a super-secret agent of the American military, and throws stupid paranormal-as-usual to muck it up. The book is funny with an intricate plot that will you you guessing... a little. The interactions between the main characters is hilarious and I laughed out loud on a number of occasions. But there are some faults.

First off, she brings back her traditional bad guy. I've read a couple of this series, and I feel like she brought him in because she could not think of nay other threat - the name and persona seems like an afterthought to appease curious fans. Also, she puts in that mental-mind control powers, which, in a paranormal romance, would be fitting. But this isn't, and it seems out of place.
