Probably not as much of a revelation as when he wrote it, particularly now that tv has probed most of his more disturbing nooks and unsightly crannies but very good nonetheless.

A proper autobiography. Fry examines his first 20yrs with the kind of clarity that is rarely seen in modern celebrity biographies. Self-examination at its best.

Terrible title, great book. Full of interesting insight, fun clear memories and lots of great language. Overlook the title, it is never referenced in the text.

Its waiting to be read an sitting in my cupboard at the side of my bed. Love Stephen fry he's a genius with words and super intelligent I read hippopotamus years ago, his books are very wordy and descriptive but once you get into them they're fantastic

The man is a national treasure - and this book explains why. It is at turns funny, touching, and full of incredible warmth, this is probably the best autobiography I've read.
