Can you tell me what time it is? Not if you're Philip K. Dick, or you've recently read one of his masterpieces. In Time Out of Joint, Ragle Gumm would do anything to get himself out of a boring life, including saving the world by solving puzzles in newspapers. And then everything explodes...

awesome book really gets your imagination going. Its full of paranoid delusions which just adds to effect. Who is the commie? who isnt? read it and find out because even I was shocked by the result.

This book, like many other Phillip K. Dick stories, deals with perceived reality. The book starts off normal enough and begins to build into something different about halfway through. It was very good. If you're a fan of PKD read this book/

One of the more original books I\'ve ever read. Started out with a premise very similar to "The Truman Show" (which was loosely based on this book), but ends up more like a mix between "Ender\'s Game" and "Total Recall". A fun, disorienting ride.

Latest PKD I've read. Really good. Read it because of the "Truman Show" connection. Yes, that movie did rip this off but it was a much different story. Can't say one is better than the other but I loved the book.
