good kid's book, with a great concept for the story; people hiding underground for generations. a rarity: the movie did a great job translating this

This book is great, although the times and dates are totally unfeasable. However its worth having as a book, rather than film. I got it for Christmas (I asked!) and have read it twice already. Wonderful book.

I enjoyed at how much there was in it. It kept me interested but somehow i wanted some more added to the story...i dont know exactly what could have been added, but there should have been more. Anyway, overall i loved the book, no matter what your age group this is a good book to just read for something to read.

A very cool book. Not too long, and I read it in less then two hours. The second half of the book kept me on the edge of my seat, which was a pleasant surprise, since I haven't read anything in awhile that's done that. Nothing deep, but creative and fairly well written for a childrens book, with a good plot.
