A wonderful and fitting second book for Paolini. His Inheritance series is really beginning to take shape, as the story gets more intricate and intriguing in this, Book 2. I could not put the book down, and plowed through it in a single day only to run right out to the library to get the next one. The character development is impressive, the storyline is deliciously intricate, and the action keeps the whole thing in constant motion. Not one dull moment, not one useless word. Bravo Paolini. Bravo.

I found this book to be a bit of a disappointment after the enjoyable reading experience I had with Book 1. In fact, the story became so tedious that I put it down and walked away.

Another really good teen read, read Eragon and this one was just as good. I actually got a bit excited during the battle towards the end. Good adult read too if you like the genre. Fun to read, easy to do in one evening.

I'm only 1/2 way through this book but its keeping me up WAY past my normal bedtime. I can't put it down and I look forward to the kids being in bed so I can pick it up again and transport myself back to Eragon and the elves.
