Bradbury is a great great writer, this book demonstrates that Ray can go to the future far away and also stay in the present and create that magical suspense inside the silence of our heads. All the characters are great n this book. ONE OF MY FAVORITES!!!

A fairly early Bradbury Book, Death is a Lonely Business offers a rare glimpse into who Bradbury is and how he became what he later did. Semi-Autobiographical, it is a good --if quick-- read that leaves you satisfied.

I like this book alot, you just have to be carful, because sometimes Ray Bradbury over describes things. all in all it get my recomandation

Being a fan of sci-fi I had read many Ray Bradbury books over the years, so I came to this book. Although it is not science fiction, Bradbury readers will recognise the way he builds an environment so real, in this case Venice, California in 1949. The descriptions of the pier evoke the landscapes of the Martian towns. You are pulled into this world so completely that the fog rolling in off the sea feels damp on your collar. The suspense leaves you quite breathless and after many re-readings I still feel death breathing on my neck. This is one of my favourite books.
