This is a wonderful book full of detailed plots and sub-plots that all intertwine to form a delicate web of mystery and mythology. Absolutely the best book I have ever read. Life-changing in it's depth and breadth. I have finally found a novel that satisfies my thirst for detail.

Simmons usual meaty, head-spinning fare, with plot twists and ah-ha's throughout. A more meaningful read if one is up on one's classical literature. Simmons in any incarnation is not to be missed. He continues to weave engaging story with elaborately imagined worlds and story arcs. Bravo!

Loved Ilium and just started on Olympos. I really liked the Hyperion series but it did go a bit awry towards the end. Hopefully, that won't happen with Olympos.
