Does anyone recall an O. Henry short story about "Thanksgiving" where the entire family gathers and the baby ends up eating the "encapsulated pill/meal"???

If you're like most people, all you know about O. Henry is that Christmas story with the trick ending, and maybe "The Ransom of Red Chief". You'd be shocked by how thick this book is. He was a prolific guy, that O. Henry.

Spent some time in prison, too.

Most of his stories concern then-contemporary (late 18th, early 20th) working class characters. Very witty. If you like Mark Twain, O. Henry should be of interest. He's tops among short story writers, if not as famous.
