this was a tough read. There were times I hated the main character, I hated the style of writing but I simply couldn't put it down. In fact, it kept me up until 2 in the morning finishing it. It is a powerful book.

Her writing was excellent, as usual, but the subject was so close to truth that it was difficult to read much at any one time. It took me weeks to finish this book.

what an excellent author,so well written ,keeps you wanting to read on and on.Fran and Bobby,teenage romance,wonderful life.Little did she know ,he is a control freak and their lovely life spirals into violence.One day she has had enough and she takes their son and runs. Will she be able to escape him,how will they all cope with this situation and will fran and robert manage to escape permanently.Heartrending story.
