Probably my favorite Vonnegut. His crazy ideas keep coming back to me. I love the idea of making extended families. One mark of a good book is the bits that keep coming back years later.

My favorite Vonnegut book. The first half of the book is so well done it had me fooled. I thought he was actually interviewing real people. Then, we get to the whole end-of-the-world part of the book, and I realize it's not so much based on real events.

The only Vonnegut novel I bothered to read, for obvious reasons (HINT: I'm a cat). It was really great I thought. But didn't have as many cats as I thought it would. Still at least he mention them in the title, that's something I guess. I wish he had mentioned us in Slaughterhouse 5, because I really actually want to read that one. However my rampant egomania about being a cat prohibits me from reading anything that doesn't promise to mention cats at least once.

Twisted and brilliant, VERY hard to follow if your brain doesn't like twisting itself in knots. (And who doesn't like that, I ask you?) Vintage Vonnegut.

Easily one of Mr. Vonnegut's most straightforward novels which, considering the book deals with a global apocalypse, loss, family, religion and sex each in their own separate story lines, is especially impressive. If I didn't hate feet so much I'd be a Bokononist.

Took me 5 years as a preteen to read it.
Very good but you need to be an adult to understand it.

Strangest book i've read in a while. What do you excpect from Vonnegut though? Entertaining.

Vonnegut always surprises me for his insights on humans.
