Was expecting a completely different ending - kind of threw me for a loop. Also, a sad commentary on how elections can be bought and manipulated.

Good book in classic Grisham style. I didn't care for the ending. It was a good read with good plot lines and characters all the way through.

The book really makes you think about why you vote for or against a candidate. I will look much deeper during the next election. I HATED the ending!

Not one of his best but it's an interesting commentary/insight on how big business exerts its influence. Leaves you uneasy, if not depressed.

Good book, as usual for Grisham... however it had a depressing ending and a few unresolved issues, but it was obviously intentional.

excellent legal thriller. a biz that has polluted a town (and moved on) is sued & loses & then uses all means necessary to try to win the appeal & escape punishment.

Not that great like the firm. But this gives you a link to the kind of crimes that a big chemical multinational of America (dow chemicals) has done with people around the world.
