Well i was eagerly waiting to read six suspects as soon as i read slumdog millionaire.

The book even though was bulky, but it was sheer pleasure to complete it. all the six suspects in the death of vickey rai and all their stories interconnecting in a very systematic manner was awesome! the presentation is really great in each and every aspect. The main story with its twist will make you annoy..

Must Read i can say..

an interesting book, not bad at all, although i found some places a little bit too descriptive and long. the most pleasing aspect for a reader is how several different stories come together and form one coherent story, revealing the mysteries hidden behind the main characters. the book describes very well the cast system in India and the reality of the corrupt politics.

a few nice quotes borrowed by the author from others:
"murder, like all art, generates interpretation and resists explanation" Michelle de Kretser from The Hamilton case

"the accused are always the most attractive" Franz Kafka from The Trial

"never judge a man's actions, until you know his motives"

"if you want to live in the city, you have to think ahead three turns, and look behind a lie to see the truth, and then behind the truth to see the lie" Vikram Chandra from Sacred Games

"nothing in the world is harder than speaking the truth" Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky from Crime And Punishment

This book from the author of "Slumdog Millionaire""is really interesting. It gives you insight of life in India. There are many characters with different backgrounds.
Apart from that the book is easy and fun to read.

A great read - I couldn't put this book down. My only issue is that there were so many characters, all with Indian names, that I was occasionally confused as to who was who. All in all, though, a fantastic read and a very impressive work.

Awesome book after a long time ... another classic from Swarup after Q&A, and I can sooo see another blockbuster like Slumdog being made from this book too!!</p>
There are many great things about this book ... the characters (or suspects), the buildup, the underlying messages but no doubt the best part was the actual ending - which (like real life itself!!!) had many faces for different groups of people!!!!

Perfect story for a Bollywood movie. The way 6 characters are inter-linked to the final plot is quite good. Nice read!!!
