Reading about the tortue of the innocents in Afghanistan makes me extremely grateful to live in a country founded on Judeo-Christian ethics. I thought it was out of place for Thanksgiving, but upon further reflection it was just right.

Just too depressing and graphic. Actually a compelling story, and very well told, but it becomes so heavy it's difficult to keep reading.
