This book makes me laugh, makes me think, but mostly it makes me hungry. An emotional roller coaster ride of a book from unapologetic feline advocate Dr. Suess (who is the John Grisham of the kiterature world.) ("kiterature" = literature for kittens. A word I just invented but will make sure ends up in the human dictionary soon)

Oh yes, this one got me started. So deep, so insightful. Everything you could want in any book: love, hate, violence and plenty of yellow.

This is one of the first books I ever read; I still know most of it by heart. Several years ago, I bought a scribbled-in first edition from a guy who lived in the Chelsea Hotel.

This is a great picture book for children. The repetition is a nice way to help them read aloud.
