This is a Katie and Chelsea book! One of my girls' favorite pre-reading books. It holds wonderful memories of my little girls sitting in my lap with their hands reaching back touching my cheek while we "read" it together.

After Go Dog Go, this was my favorite book to read to my baby sister! Students enjoy the constant repetition and rhyming patters of DR Seuss which makes reading logical and interesting to them. Hope you enjoy reading this to your children, grandchildren, and young neighbors also. Peace and Good, Bill

A elementary school basic. Also the children make you as they start to cry, then the green eggs and ham. My nephews name is james, so he may be known as "peaches" and loved anything with his name in it, go figure. He is the eldest of three blood, so as a childless female, I had to babysit and/or help my mother, the grandma with many tantrums, that even as an adult, he still throws.

I love reading this book to my great nieces and nephews. Now they read it to me. That's what it is all about. Interacting with children and helping them learn to love to read for themselves has brought myself and the children I read to great joy and appreciation for the institute of learning. Dr. Seuss's books are a great way to begin the learning to read process. I respectfully call this book "The One Two, Red & Blue book". It addresses many facets of novice learning for children and reminds seasoned reader of fundamentals. It's agreat re-reader!

My grandchildren love Dr. Seuss so we have collected many of his classics. One fish two fish aid the children in identifying colors and numbers and it is fun for them because it is set up in a rhyming tone that they can follow and memorize easily. Eventually they are reading it to you. This book is an absolute winner and a must for any childs library.

This was one of the first books that I ever read, and it lead to a love for reading when I was younger. Children will enjoy the rhythm of the rhymes, the silly drawings, and believe it or not, learn to connect that the words make the pictures come alive. Take some time with this book--especially if you have some kids--because television, in my opinion, robs a child of their use of imagination. With this book, open their mind to imagination and see if they can create their stories and many their words come alive.

I remember reading this to my kids about a gazillion times and it never got boring. I thought it was an excellent book.

One Fish Two Fish Read Fish Blue Fish doesn't read like a story, but is more of a collection of child-length short stories. Each page is a new adventure as we explore everything from the fish to a Wump, a Zans, a Yink, a Nook, a Ying, a Yop and many other silly things. Not only does this book hold the attention of the kids all the way through, but it makes the reader giggle from beginning to end.
